FiNALLY, TiME
It wasn't time I carved out or took off, it was time I was forced to take for recovering from knee surgery. But I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it: finally build my own website.
Welcome to my creative playground, a space to create, connect and share,
all on my own terms.
It all started with a simple urge: to create a space where I can express myself without reservations. A personal playground for all my messy ideas, unfinished thoughts and creative outbursts. No fixed purpose — just a platform where things can exist.
OiOiOi STUDiO = a curated collection of creative projects, visual experiments and unfiltered thoughts. Call it a digital portfolio, a blog, a moodboard, a mindmap, whatever it is — it’s mine.
And now, maybe it’s a little bit yours too. Thanks for visiting!
Hi, my name is Sander (short for Alexander), last name Geys (like “Guys” but with an E).
I’m a creator, collector and curator — and everything in between. I love structure, textures, imperfections and coffee. Black. No sugar.

How it started to how it's going: BiG POPPA → BiG [DIG] → OiDiGi → OiLoGiC
Since 2016, I’ve been scribbling hip-hop lyrics onto thrifted paintings and religious prints — turning old images into something new. Just like hip-hop samples old tunes into fresh beats, I sample iconic lyrics onto forgotten art.
Signed with my alter ego Big Poppa — a homage to the legendary Notorious B.I.G.
What started in my thrift shop turned into something bigger. Big Poppa caught some unexpected attention on social media and ended up selling 100+ pieces worldwide. These days, I only work on antique portraits — rarer to find, but definitely worth the hunt. That means B.P. originals are limited and drop irregularly. View my STUDiO for available work.
When antique portraits got harder to come by, I went fully digital — a new alter ego was born: Big [Dig] Poppa. Same attitude, different canvas. I started remixing high-res masterpieces, layering in analog-style scribbles, textures and typography. More freedom. More control. Still 100% Big Poppa.

While experimenting in digital form, something unexpected happened — I started drifting. Antique paintings made way for vintage photography. Handlettering gave in to bold fonts. Colours got louder. Layers got deeper. A visual side project evolved into something new: OiDiGi.

After going all-in on digital with OiDiGi, I felt the itch to go back. Back to paper, paint, ink and glue. But this time, armed with techniques learned in pixels.
OiLoGiC is a raw, analog response to a digital rhythm — built on layers, textures, mixed media and a visual logic only I need to understand. This one’s more process than product. More feeling than finish. This is the analog aftermath.

During the pandemic, while the world stood still, my son Finn’s imagination took off. He turned my thrift shop into a world of wonder — a place where forgotten objects found new meaning through his eyes. Every item sparked a new adventure. Every visit became a story. That spark turned into Finn’s Fantastic Finds — a short illustrated story based on his real-life fantasies.
Drawn by the talented Leonore Lichtveld and printed as a small A6 leporello, this little book folds out into one long journey. I printed it in a small, limited batch and I’m giving it away for free — just because it deserves to be shared.
Besides ANALOG x DIGITAL also LYRICAL

I’ve been on social media for years. Tried almost every platform — mostly under the guise of creative growth, visibility and connection. But somewhere along the way, things got blurry. I ended up juggling multiple IG accounts, a forgotten Facebook page, a dusty LinkedIn profile and a business listing no one asked for. All of them buzzing quietly in my pocket, waiting for a flick, a like, a little piece of attention. And I gave in, generously.
